Line 1: The United States Department of Extranormal Affairs is the part of the United States Government that is tasked with dealing with unusual ~~occurences~~occurrences and events on U.S. soil (obviously, an unusually wide scope of jurisdiction for a government agency). Officially formed in 1982 as part of the [[Bowman Acts]], DEXA (the commonly- used acronym for the agency) has ties with [[DELPHI]] and the [[United States Academy of Extranormal Studies]], but is not in direct control of either organization. The ninth (and current) Director of DEXA is Brigadier General (retired) [[Paula Trainor]], who was selected for the post over Major General [[Robert Bakeson]] (who died in the LLH 'Mini' ''Where Did Quinn Go? - Part One'').
