In June of 2012, Zoey graduated with the USAES Class of 2012. She graduated second in her class (behind [[Sherrie Klein]]) and received Bachelor of Science degrees in Engineering and Marine Sciences; because of her overall record and achievements, she was commissioned as a Lieutenant Junior Grade in the U.S. Coast Guard.
