Breaking the Mold
Breaking the Mold was written by Kara Wild in November 1999 and is the eleventh installment of the Driven Wild Universe. Like most other installments, it is written in quasi-script form with three Acts and commercials.
Summary[edit]
Envious of Quinn's bond with Jake, Helen tries without success to bond with Daria. When Daria points out that Helen might just need a hobby, she and Helen make a bet: Each will join an activity, and the first to quit will be forced to either bond (Daria) or butt out (Helen). Daria joins the Lawndale Lowdown and quickly encounters friction with the vapid editor. Helen joins Amanda Lane's pottery class, where disasters and discovery ensue.
