The younger brother of [[Brittany Taylor]] in ''Daria.'' As shown in [[canon]], Brian has a pronounced streak of cruelty and is noted in several places in canon asto enjoyingenjoy the torture of small animals (e.g., "[[The Lab Brat]]" and ''[[The Daria Database]]''). He is one of the characters most often described as "evil" inby fans of the series. This perception is strongly reinforced in many of the fanfics about him, which almost without exception present Brian as a dangerous psychopath.
