Cocking Hall is one of the three First Academy residence halls on the campus of the United States Academy of Extranormal Studies (the other two being Boruszkowski Hall and Williams Hall). It is designated as living quarters for Cadets Third Year to First Year.
The first-floor area for special uses has been made over into a ballroom/dance area, with appropriate equipment and facilities on hand. Formal events that do not require the use of larger facilities are held here.
Because of the unfortunate nature of the name, cadets housed there are given to making inappropriate comments referencing their residence hall.
