Jerome Smythe is a character from fanfic, specifically Canadibrit's The Look-Alike Series, the father of Lynn Cullen, the central character of that fanfic series.

SPOILERS!!!!

Jerome was an Englishman, and the head of a group of assassins. The description of them sounds similar to the "Brownsville Boys" (also known as "Murder Incorporated"), a group often hired by the mafia during the 1920s to the 1940s.

It is eventually revealed that Jerome had sex with Helen Morgendorffer, thus fathering Daria.

Towards the end of the Look Alike Series, he dies.
