John is the first story in the John Lane Series by Richard Lobinske. It is an Alternate Universe story the imagines Jane Lane being born male, John Lane. This story covers his first meeting with Daria Morgendorffer and the changes this brings to his and his family's lives. Covers events mentioned in the episodes Esteemsters and The Invitation
