Leda Calavicci

Leda Calavicci is a fictional character in the ongoing serial fanfictionLegion of Lawndale Heroes. A Cadet First Year (equal to a college senior) at the United States Academy of Extranormal Studies, Leda is a psionic of an unusually high level, easily on the level of Daria Morgendorffer.

while possessing telepathy, Leda is a high-level empath, whose related powers also include healing and controlling the emotions of others (related to Daria's mind control). She also has VERY power mental shields, which prevent any mental-based attack of any source from striking her or whomever she protects (she can expand the shields outwards to cover larger areas), and she has the psionic ability to communicate with ANYTHING (be it of alien, animal, plant, machine, spirit or a non-living nature) and translate/understand its language. She can do this with any form of language (spoken, written, symbol, sign, body movements, mental pulses, etc.); and converse in a manner that the others in the conversation can understand. As a result of her powers, Leda is planning a career in the U.S. State Department after her required service time has been completed (she has mentioned that she's going to be working in the National Security Agency).

Leda is 5'2, with a slender build, jade-green eyes and raven-black hair that she prefers to keep cut short. She is incredibly attractive and equally flirtatious, and enjoys unnerving people with her nature. She is also incredibly honest and open. As a Cadet at the Academy, she is majoring in Political Sciences and minoring in Computer Sciences; she is also a highly-skilled hand-to-hand combatant, and has a high ranking in the martial art of Aikido.
