Pulling a Lobinske

A humorous term coined by Brother Grimace, which is used to define typos found in fanfics, the finding of such a typo, or to realize that one has made such a typo.

(Ex.: 'Helen splat down hard upon the couch, and kicked her shows off.')

Also known as 'pulling a Lobinske.'

The term is named for Richard Lobinske, an entomologist from Florida who is also the author of several noted Daria fan fiction series and works. Dr. Lobinske is also a moderator on the PPMB, and one of the primary workers behind the the upcoming 2008 Dariacon (to be held in Orlando, Florida).
