As a result of events begun in [[Behind Enemy Lines]], Franklin is promoted to the rank of Brigadier General and transfered to SABRE, where he became commander of one of the first metahuman battalions, the Exterminators.
Franklin is married to Commander Aki Davers (nee Ward), a U.S. Navy officer and a fellow member of the P.O.G.O. teams. He also has four brothers; the youngest, Jefferson, is currently a cadet at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York.
Franklin has also appeared in the [[Crusading Saint]] fics 'You Always Hurt...' and 'The Ones You Love'.
