The oldest of two daughters born to a wealthy interracial couple living in the Northern California city of [[Verona Beach]], Zoey Robertson was born with mutant abilities that manifested when she was five years old. In order to help her control her powers and gain a sense of self-control, her parents had her intensely trained in various forms of martial arts and physical skills. She is especially proficent in fighting with thrown weapons, javelins and the 'bo staff'. Zoey also has championship-level tumbling and acrobatic abilities.
