Maserati''' is the pen name of an American fanfiction author originally from Columbia, MO and raised there, now residing in Oakland, CA. Tommy joined the U.S. Army at 18 and is a combat veteran who served with the 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom as an automated brigade-level supply clerk. After leaving the military and finishing trade school as a logistics engineer along with a few years of education at Columbia College (Coast Guard Island, Alameda) and Berkeley City College, he became a paralegal research secretary working directly under the law counselor and board member of the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment in Oakland.
He first began publishing his writing works on Fanfiction.Net in 2015, authoring two ebooks. His debut ''Daria'' fanfic [[Million Daria Baby]] made him a nominee for Favorite Drama at the [[2021 Daria Fanworks Awards]], the first award nomination for any of his works. Tommy wrote the following musical fanfiction [[Fashion Club Entertainment]] as well, a songfic oneshot based around [[The Fashion Club]] and their journey into the music industry. This fic was also nominated twice at the 19th Booties aka the [[2022 Daria Fanworks Awards]] by which Tommy is a Favorite New Author award recipient for that year.
