Summary

As a result of radioactive contamination in the drinking water at Highland, Daria was born looking like a fairy, being only a few inches tall and possessing insect-like wings, though her personality remains the same. She also speaks in iambic pentameter, possibly as a reference to the fairies in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

"Uranium in the Drinking Water" covers the same territory as the first episode of the series, Esteemsters, with the events changed to reflect Daria's new physique.
