Antoine Petithomme

Antoine Petithomme is one of Daria's friends from Raft in Ruthless Bunny's Bed and Breakfast Man. Antoine is president of the Black Student Union. He and Daria meet at a Student Government meeting that Daria forced to attend in her role as assistant to the Dean of the English Department. Antoine becomes a friend and ally as they both navigate the sometimes racist, sexist and classist system of "Ivy League" universities. Antione is an idealist and he provides a counterpoint for Daria's cynical view of the world. Daria and Antoine band together to help elect Quinn's cat, Joyce, president of student government.
