As with most of his family, he's an alumni of [[Bromwell]]. He first met Kay at a free concert held at Bromwell by the Carpenters, when he was a senior and she was a sophmore.
His relationship with his son is undeveloped, though we do know he had Tom's old Ford Pinto towed away in the middle of the night and gave him a second-hand Jaguar instead. Kay once said both Angier and Tom are "stuck in their ways" when it came to (not) buying new clothes.
