What if Y2K hadn't been a dud? This series by Wildgoose is set twenty years after a limited nuclear war and a 10 year conventional war caused by the Y2K glitch, Capt. Daria Morgendorffer of the submarine USS Cynicism has to face a final crisis as sea before returning home for Helen's funeral.
An interesting mix of conventional and science fiction in a sitution that seems on the surface as unworkable, but proves to make almost complete sense while giving the reader and ejoyable time.
