Driven Wild Universe
A series of stories in script form by Kara Wild. It begins soon after the beginning of the third season of the series, diverging from the series continuity starting with "Lane Miserables," although some series developments still remain. Tom Sloane, for instance, does become—and stay—Jane Lane's boyfriend. An intriguing AU, DWU is noted for its development of Quinn as a glasses-wearing math genius, an interesting outcome in light of a similar development of Quinn as being much smarter than she first appears in the actual TV series (e.g., as in "Lucky Strike"). The series gives Quinn, Helen, and Amy Barksdale almost equal coverage with Daria, exploring the relationships between these strong-willed women; Jane Lane is a secondary character.
